Interior decorator, what are they and how to become one?
I would really love to be an interior decorator but I’m not sure if its an official term here in the UK. Can anyone tell me if it is, and if so how do you become one? Are there any Interior Decorating firms in Northern Ireland and how would I find them? By Interior decorator I mean someone who decides on all of the decorations, furniture, wall paper, curtains etc of a room, not someone who actually papers the walls. Everywhere I look all that seems to come up is interior designer, not interior decorator. Any help would be much appreciated 
I would try and get a few interior design magazines from a newsagents and look at some of the averts in the back of it as well. I have recently started using Twitter as well and just type in the word interior design there and you will find a wealth of information and people and businesses that you can follow to learn a little more about the industry.
