For the Christians: Does it bother you when atheists wear crosses?

You might wonder why an atheist would wear these things if they don’t believe. I’ve worn crosses all my life, and I’ve pretty much always incorported religious art into my home decor, simply because I find some of it to be very beautiful (who can deny the Sistine Chapel is gorgeous?).

Shawn…some are beautifully intricate, and some are beautiful in their simplicity. I think it’s really just a matter of personal taste.

The symbol of the cross pre-dates christianity. Just because someone wears a cross does not automatically mean they are a christian. I’m of celtic origin and if I want to wear a celtic cross, I will.

If, on the other hand, you’re talking about people wearing a crucifix, then I see your point.
